1. Who we are

2. Not a construction service

Ridgeline is a physical consumer goods retailer. We sell rain-ready gear and waterproof storage that we hold in stock and ship. We are not a roofing, building or waterproofing contractor. We do not carry out construction, installation or site work, do not provide quotes for such work, do not introduce or broker contractors, and do not collect or hold any construction, project or contractor payments. Nothing on this site is an offer of building services.

3. Water-resistant, not waterproof-guaranteed

Our products are described as water-resistant / weather-ready. They are splash and rain rated for everyday weather. They are not guaranteed absolutely waterproof and are not rated for submersion, diving or prolonged immersion. Real protection varies with rain intensity, duration and how the item is used and maintained. Use your own judgement in severe conditions.

4. Children's rainwear safety

Children's rain jackets and ponchos are supplied with no neck drawstrings or cords. Children's items are for supervised use only. Keep small parts and packaging away from infants and young children. You are responsible for supervising children using our products.

5. Outdoor shelter — use at your own risk

Tarps, shelters, sit pads and other outdoor items are for leisure use. You are solely responsible for choosing a suitable site and for anchoring, load, structural safety and weather conditions. Do not use shelter items in thunderstorms, lightning or high wind. You accept the risks of outdoor pitching and use.

6. Multi-tool and blade notice

Where any item includes a blade or cutting tool, such items may be restricted or age-limited in some countries or regions. By ordering you confirm you comply with the laws that apply to you, and that you meet any minimum age requirement. We may refuse or cancel orders that cannot be shipped lawfully.

7. No medical claims

Our products make no medical, therapeutic or health claims and are not medical devices.

8. Orders, pricing and payment

All prices are shown in USD and payment is taken in USD via Stripe. An order is a request to buy; a contract forms when we confirm dispatch. We may decline or cancel an order (with a full refund) where an item is unavailable, mispriced or cannot be shipped lawfully to your location. Your card statement will show the descriptor RIDGELINE.

9. Memberships

Membership (Downpour, Stormproof) is a recurring shopping-benefits subscription billed monthly or yearly in USD. It is not a product, stored value, credits or a withdrawable balance. Benefits apply during the active billing period and do not roll over. You can cancel any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. See the Refund Policy.

10. Delivery and returns

Delivery is covered by our Shipping & Delivery Policy and returns by our Refund & Returns Policy.

11. Acceptable use

Use of the store is also subject to our Acceptable Use Policy and Content License.

12. Eligibility and minors

You must be at least 18 to hold a payment card and place an order. The store may not be used to order by anyone under 13. Users aged 13–17 may only use the store with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the order.

13. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, our liability for any product is limited to the price paid for it. We are not liable for misuse, or for outdoor use contrary to sections 3–5.

14. Governing law

These Terms and any dispute are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
